Japanese prior art search:
Most of Japanese patent and non-patent literature searches are validity (invalidation) search, but we also perform right-to-use search, patentability search, and state-of-the-art search. Our Japanese prior art searches are performed by Japanese native searchers. We don't believe it is possible to perform a thorough Japanese patent search using English abstract or machine translation, although we know some search firms do that.
